Description

Intended for charging of mobile phones, tablets and camera equipment the CONNEkT GEAR is a clever socket saving retro-fit 13A mains and USB power faceplate.

It replaces and upgrades existing 2-gang 13A socket installations with the addition of USB charging sockets. It fits standard double back boxes and requires a minimum depth of just 25mm.

The 2-Amp "intelligent split" USB power outlet (Type A) provides superior charging rates over standard (500mA) variants. It can deliver up to 2-Amps from a single USB outlet rather than limiting each to half of the overall capacity. If no USB devices are connected, the transformer shuts down and no power is supplied to the sockets.

Built-in surge and spike protection is included.
