Description
It is slightly larger than classic mini-ITX cases and therefore offers all the more space for hardware, such as a power supply in ATX format. The full-surface mesh front ensures a generous supply of air and at the same time keeps dust away from the interior of the housing. Two 120 or two 140 fans can be attached behind it. Both the right and left closed side panels also have mesh cutouts to provide additional ventilation. A 120 mm PWM fan is already installed on the front and rear.
The features of the PHANTEKS Eclipse P200A Performance at a glance:
– Noble mini-tower for mainboards up to a mini-ITX form factor
– Stylish mesh front for good ventilation
– Lots of space for air or water cooling
– Two pre-installed fans on the front and back
– Graphics cards up to 355 mm in length, vertical installation possible
– CPU cooler up to 165 mm high
– 4x 2.5-inch slots & 4x 3.5-inch slots with optional brackets
– I / O panel with 2x USB 3.0 and 2x audio
The PHANTEKS Eclipse P200A Performance: stylish design with optimized airflow
The PHANTEKS Eclipse P200A Performance follows the well-known design of the Eclipse series from PHANTEKS. The trapezoidal front consists entirely of a close-meshed ventilation grille made of steel. The perforations, which are only one millimeter in size, ensure that the sucked in air gets dust-free and yet unhindered into the interior of the housing. Two 120 mm or 140 mm fans can be installed behind it, a 120 mm PWM fan is pre-installed there. The front is easy to remove and clean.
A 120 mm PWM fan is already installed on the rear. Two 120 mm fans can be attached to the right-hand side, and a perforated cut-out on the right-hand side panel also ensures sufficient air supply. Two additional 120 mm fans can be attached to the floor. Accordingly, radiators can be accommodated in the Eclipse P200A at the same time; the radiator can be 240 mm on the side and up to 280 mm on the front. However, it should be noted that the 240 mm radiator must not be higher than 279 mm and the front one must not be higher than 325 mm. There is still space for a 120 mm heat exchanger at the rear. The housing is equipped with a pull-out dust filter on the bottom.
Plenty of space for gaming hardware
A mini-ITX mainboard has space in the interior of the Eclipse P200A Performance. The processor installed on it can be cooled with a CPU cooler of up to 165 mm in height. There is also plenty of space for graphics cards, they can be up to 355 mm long. With the help of an optional riser card, a 3-slot or 65 mm high GPU can also be installed vertically, without the fan on the back. A bracket is included for vertical installation. For power supplies in the standard ATX format, which are attached to the top, there is also enough space with 205 mm.
Two 2.5-inch drives can be installed on the back of the mainboard tray. Brackets are included for two additional 2.5-inch data carriers. They are attached next to the mainboard without fans or the side radiator. If you want to install 3.5-inch HDDs, you need the optional HDD brackets from PHANTEKS, which are then also installed on the side. Up to two brackets for a total of four HDDs fit into the housing.
The I / O panel with two USB 3.0 slots and the almost ubiquitous audio jacks is located at the bottom on the front. The power switch is built into the lid.
